Too bad everyone's jumping on the hate train for TBATE, probably won't get a season 2 because of it..
I was wondering for a while now what "TBATE" was a short for, only now did I bother to find out - I gave it 7/10 personally
I'd say it's interesting enough to keep me watching and if they end the season on cliff hanger then I'll probably want a s2..
It's one of the only animes this season I'm bothering to watch tho I will say anime studios need to learn pacing. Slow pacing is arguably worse than fast pacing
Srsly, this one catched me offguard as it didnt felt like a typical Isekai for me. Its not a visual masterpiece, and doesnt have to be one. It brings its own charm and catched me with the nice contrast of the hard ruling King that suddenly is surrounded by love. Looking forward for new episodes :)
The biggest problem is everyone got it in their head that since its such a good web novel it "has" to be Solo Leveling quality. imo its a fine watch, its nothing crazy but its not as bad as everyone is claiming it is..
From what I understand, this is getting a season 2 (so far), but its technically just a second cour, so we will be getting 24 total episodes with the current announcements.
I binged the web novel, couldn't put it down. Then tried watching it again and it was hard.
Good. People shouldn't give views to bad/cheap animation. the author by buying the original content and reading it there.
its funny you say this because apparently its one of the most popular shows in japan and guess what, global audience does not really matter to japan so you might get to enjoy another season of the frames after the end
